COMING UP: Avenue Q
The Dio - Dining & Entertainment
June 27th - August 10th 2025
Kennedy will be staring in the iconic musical as Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut this summer! Puppets, songs, and questionable life advice—what’s not to love? Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical featuring hilarious songs like “Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist,” “The Internet Is for Porn,” and “It Sucks to Be Me.”


Almost, Maine - Cornwell's Dinner Theatre
Marshall, MI
March 27th - April 12th 2025
In March and April of 2025, Kennedy appeared in Almost, Maine at Cornwell’s Dinner Theatre in Marshall, MI. A romantic and whimsical play composed of nine short scenes, Almost, Maine explores love and loss in a magical, fictional town under the northern lights. Kennedy played multiple characters throughout the production, showcasing versatility and heart in a variety of touching and comedic moments. It was an additional honor and pleasure for Kennedy to share the stage with her partner of over 3 years, Brady (Pictured).

Riverbank Theatre
Marine City, MI
February 8th - March 9th, 2025
In February and March of 2025, Kennedy appeared as Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q at The Riverbank Theatre in Marine City, Michigan. Produced by Thumbcoast Theatres, the production brought the beloved Tony Award-winning musical to life with sharp humor, heart, and a talented ensemble cast. As Lucy, Kennedy embraced the character’s boldness and charisma, delivering a performance that balanced comedy with vocal power, stage presence and excellent puppetry skills!

The Brain That Wouldn't Die! - Ypsilanti, Michigan
October & November 2024
This past Halloween season, Kennedy had the honor of being a part of an original cast! With book and lyrics by the fabulous Carla Margolis, The Brain That Wouldn't Die is a campy musical full of twisted romance and mad science! Based on the infamous cult classic 1962 movie with the same name, it’s a must-see event for fans of horror, comedy, and musical theater alike. The Brain That Wouldn't Die had its run at the Riverside Arts Center at the end of October and into early November of 2024.

In August and September of 2024, Kennedy made her Shakespeare debut as Antonio in The Tempest, performed outdoors in the park in Fenton, Michigan. This summer production brought Shakespeare’s classic to life in a natural setting, offering a dynamic and accessible experience for the community. As Antonio, Kennedy embraced the challenge of Shakespearean language and villainy, bringing nuance and energy to the role in her first foray into classical theatre.​

Bright Star Touring Children's Theatre
January - March 2024
In early 2024, Kennedy toured with Bright Star Children’s Theatre, performing Black History’s Groundbreaking Geniuses and Meet Dr. King in schools and libraries across the country. Sharing these powerful stories with young audiences was both an honor and a joy, combining her love of performance with a passion for education and outreach. The experience offered a unique chance to inspire through theatre while celebrating the legacy of Black leaders in American history.

Cornwell's Dinner Theatre

In the 2023 holiday season, Kennedy appeared as Susie Snowflake in Tinsel & Turkey, an original Christmas revue at Cornwell's Dinner Theatre. This high-energy, sequin-filled production featured classic holiday hits, lively choreography, and a cast of festive characters including Mr. and Mrs. Claus, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Frosty the Snowman. Full of sparkle, humor, and toe-tapping cheer, the show was a joyful celebration of the season.
